The Happy Norseman Farms Origin Story

Our journey began when our founder, Joshua who was successful in his career but was not fulfilled went to visit a wise man and asked what the meaning of work was. The answer he got was "to earn a bowl of rice that someone who does not love you makes"!  This stunning revelation lead him to cultivate the land behind his house to earn, grow and make his and his families own "bowl of rice"

In time he started growing and making all the food for his family. One day later he noticed they were happier and healthier. He also noticed that by farming sustainably there was a positive feedback loop where the land, bugs, birds, animals, himself and his family flourished. He wanted to bring that blessing and abundance to the community and the Happy Norseman was born!

At Happy Norseman Farms our mission is to expand that positive feedback loop by helping you to be happy, healthy, and blessed!

To that end we offer local raw honey! Farm fresh produce made with no pesticides! Fresh baked goods! Home made jams! and other seasonal items from our family to yours!

We are at your local farmers market in Polk County and we deliver as well!
